Milan Elie returns to East Coast Bays in new role to oversee junior programmes

Auckland club East Coast Bays have appointed Milan Elie as its Football Development Manager to lead junior grades and programmes.

Elie (24) joins Bays in January after moving from Wellington, where he was Capital Football’s Federation Development Officer leading Coach Education and Talent.

Before moving to Wellington, Elie was part of the coaching team at Bays, leading the communications and planning of the club’s NZF-accredited youth talent development programme (TDP).

Elie’s new role includes:

  • Junior Director for 9th-12th grade.
  • Talent development programme (TDP) coach.
  • Coach Education Lead, delivering NZF qualifications, ECB-specific coach education and coaching support across key programmes.
  • Community programmes coach.
