New Zealand international winger Callum McCowatt has continued his good form in the Danish Cup, scoring a vital goal in the first leg of his club’s two-legged quarter-final.

McCowatt (24) neatly steered the ball inside the far post to give his Silkeborg club a 43rd minute lead against hosts Copenhagen.

Silkeborg won the game 2-0 and take the lead into the second leg on Monday December 11 (NZT) when they play in front of their home fans.

McCowatt, who joined Silkeborg this year, scored twice in the previous round of the cup.
