Tory Schilgen returns as women’s head coach for title-winning Waterside Karori

Waterside Karori have confirmed Tory Schilgen will return as the head coach of their women’s first team next season.

Schilgen (34) joined the club in 2023 after spells with Western Suburbs and Upper Hutt City, leading Waterside Karori to the Women’s Central League title, earning qualification for the Women’s National League in which the team finished fifth.

She told Waterside Karori’s social media channel: “I am thrilled to be back with the Wharfies next season. We have come a long way in a very short amount of time this past year and have just started to scratch the surface of what these women and this team can accomplish.”
