Bottom-placed Adelaide United came from behind to topple in-form Wellington Phoenix 2-1 in their women’s A-League match in South Australia.
The Nix took the lead through Emma Main but allowed Adelaide to climb back into the match after missing a series of goalscoring opportunities.
The home side punished the New Zealand side with second half goals to take their first win of the season, and push the Phoenix down to fourth place on the Liberty A-League table.
