Wellington Phoenix have lost ground on women’s A-League leaders Melbourne City after losing 2-1 to Brisbane Roar.
Phoenix striker Isabel Cox gave her side the lead from a corner in the 20th minute but goals either side of the break put the home side in front.
The result means the Phoenix are now 10 points behind leaders Melbourne City after 11 rounds of competition.
