Waitemata have named their coaching staff for their men’s U-23 team for the 2024 season.

Nick Marsh will be head coach for the squad, while Conan McKinstry becomes the side’s assistant coach.

Marsh (48) steps up from coaching at junior and youth levels, with the club saying: “Nick’s commitment to excellence, coupled with his extensive experience in youth development, makes him an invaluable asset to our U-23 team.

“We are confident that his expertise will further elevate the capabilities of our aspiring athletes and contribute significantly to our team’s success.”

McKinstry (50) has previous coaching experience, working with Watemata’s programme from junior ranks to senior teams.

In 2019, he led the women’s first team to the first-division title.

Waitemata have confirmed the coaching duo of Hamish Mackay and John Cunningham will again lead their first team’s campaign in the Lotto NRFL Northern Conference.
