Futsal White Hamish Grey lands contract with Spanish club

New Zealand futsal international Hamish Grey has signed with Spanish club Zambú CFS Pinatar till the end of the European season.

Hamish Grey’s new club welcome him on social media.

Grey (21) will play in Spain’s Segunda División B for the Group V competition leaders.

Last season, Grey made history by becoming New Zealand’s fist professional futsal player when he signed with ASD Isola 5 in the Italian Serie B.

The wing-defender is a member of the Futsal Whites who have qualified for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup to be held in Uzbekistan.

The former Selwyn College student played for Auckland City for four years before heading to Australia and then Spain.

In his first spell in Spain, he played in the Youth Honor Division with Penya Esplugues, 2020-21 season.

He then played in the Spanish Third Division with AE Xarxa Horta.
