Waitemata seek women’s head coach for new season

Auckland club Waitemata are seeking a women’s head coach to lead their 2024 campaign.

The club has posted the following notice seeking applications:

Responsibilities
• Lead the coaching staff and players to achieve their full potential on and off the field.
•Develop and implement effective training programs that foster individual skill development and team cohesion.
• Strategize and execute match-day tactics to secure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with reserve and youth coaches to ensure a seamless pathway for player development.
• Uphold the club’s values, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements
• Previous coaching experience is preferable but not essential. Full support will be provided by the club’s director of football.
• An advanced NZ coaching qualification is desirable. C-licence or international equivalent (or working towards).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for women’s soccer and a commitment to player development.
