VIDEO: All Whites skipper Chris Wood stays on track for double-figure haul

New Zealand international Chris Wood has continued his goalscoring run under new Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo, with a goal against Brentford in the English Premier League.

Wood (32) scored with a trademark header in the 65th minute of Forest’s 3-2 loss at Brentford, his fifth goal in four EPL games since Santo’s appointment.

The goal was Wood’s eighth of the EPL season, keeping him on track to reach a double-figure haul for a fifth season, a rare feat achieved only by an elite band of strikers that includes Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Harry Kane (Spurs), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) and Son Heung-Min (Spurs).

Wood’s latest goal was the 22nd scored with his head during his EPL career, more than any other player active in the competition.
