Former All Whites coach Danny Hay has signed defender Jack Cawley from New Zealand national champions Wellington Olympic.
Cawley (31) has become Hay’s second new season signing from New Zealand as he builds his squad for West Australia’s Perth SC, who play in Australia’s second-tier competition, the National Premier League Western Australia.
Hay had already signed Christchurch-born defender Ben Stroud (25) who had been playing in Finland’s third-tier competition as the captain of FC Jazz.
