Metro look to recruit coach for Lotto NRFL Women’s Conference team

Auckland club Metro FC are seeking expressions of interest for the position of head coach of their women’s first team.

The team finished second in the six-team Lotto NRFL Women’s Conference in 2023, and were runners-up in the Carol Waller Cup in 2022.

In its post, Metro say: “This is a talented group of ladies who are looking to find a coach to help get them promoted in 2024.

“No coaching badges required, however if you want to sit any coaching licences, the club will cover the cost of them.”

The club says it will a small reimbursement to the coach.

The role has become vacant after the departure of coach John Ellis to one of his previous clubs, Bucklands Beach.
