Former Hamilton Wanderers striker Tommy Semmy has signed for Australian second-tier club Melbourne Knights.
Semmy (29), a 16-cap Papua New Guinea international who played for Wanderers in the Northern League from 2017-21, joins the Knights from Victoria’s Altona Magic.
The Knights play in the Victoria National Premier League.
Since leaving the Waikato, Semmy trialled with A-League club Newcastle Jets and had a loan spell with Dandenong City.

Semmy told the Knights’ website: “I wanted to transfer to the Knights because it’s a big club with a big history. I want to be part of the successful and great history.
“I’m excited about being a part of the team and to make history together. I’m grateful for the opportunity, hopefully we will do great things and be successful.”
