Canterbury’s teams completed clean sweeps through two days of men’s and women’s Ford Futsal Superleague competition at Rangiora MainPower Stadium.
After winning all their games on Saturday, the men’s Canterbury United Dragons and women’s Canterbury United Pride romped through Sunday’s matches as well.
The Pride were in stunning form and in one display of their power, they scored five goals in the opening six minutes of their 9-0 win against Palmerston North Marist.
The nearest any Canterbury side came to defeat was the 5-4 win the men’s side achieved against HB Futsal.
