The Wellington Phoenix have kept their lead in the men’s A-League with a 3-2 win against Adelaide United at Sky Stadium.
A strong second half performance saw the Phoenix reclaim the top spot in the Isuzu UTE A-League from overnight leaders Central Coast Mariners who beat Newcastle Jets 1-0 on Saturday.
The latest Nix win included a first-ever A-League goal from Oskar van Hattum while Ben Old finished the match with a pair.
