A good weekend for Wellington’s top men’s teams! The Phoenix retained their lead in the men’s A-League while Wellington Olympic landed the first trophy of the New Zealand domestic season.
Canterbury teams were dominant in the two days of competition for the women’s and men’s Ford Futsal Superleagues, while the Wellington Phoenix scored three goals but still came out on the wrong end of their match in the women’s A-League.
