Another group of former Football Ferns have been given their debut caps at a special event hosted by New Zealand Football and Mainland Football in Christchurch.
The gathering in early 2024 honoured the Ferns whose efforts and appearances for their country had largely gone without recognition until the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup helped to shine light on their achievements.
Since then, NZ Football have presented former international players with their caps to recognise and celebrate they path they built for today’s Ferns, and those who want to become future Ferns.
