New Zealand internationals Matt Garbett and Tommy Smith have scored for their clubs in their latest domestic league competitions.
In the Dutch Eerste Divisie, Garbett struck after only 42 seconds of NAC Breda’s home game against Dordrecht.
However, Dordrecht eventually won 4-1 to move into third place on the 20-team table, leaving Garbett’s club in seventh place.

In the men’s A-League, All Whites defender Smith turned out to be an unlikely hero as his late header gave 10-man Macarthur a 2-1 win against Adelaide United, moving the Bulls into fourth place on the table.
