Otahuhu United step up plans to celebrate club’s 50th anniversary

Auckland club Ōtāhuhu United invite past and present members and supporters to their Seaside Park home over the weekend of May 4-5 to help the club plan celebrations of their 50th anniversary.

The club says they are gathering stories, ideas and connections with past members of the Ōtāhuhu whānau for this year’s anniversary.

“The best people to take the lead on this incredible feat are Gary and Helen Keegan, who are also celebrating forty years this year being with Ōtāhuhu United,” the club says.

Gary and Helen Keegan will help host an in-person catch-up at Seaside Park on:

  • Saturday May 4, 2024, from 3pm.
  • Sunday May 5, 2024, from 11am.

Alternatively, those interested can contact Gary Keegan (0212854477) or Helen Keegan (0272856364), or email otahuhuafcsecretary@gmail.com.

To help collate stories from the club’s past, Ōtāhuhu United have set up an online form which can be accessed here >>>>

The club also invites more volunteers to join the anniversary committee.
