New Zealand international Marko Stamenić has added a Serbian Cup winner’s medal to his football resume.
Midfielder Stamenić (22) and his Crvena Zvezda side have beaten Vojvodina 2-1 at Lagator Stadium to clinch a league-cup double.
Stamenić played 75 minutes in the cup final, before being substituted with his side leading 2-0.

The side, also known as Red Star Belgrade, withstood a late rally from Vojvodina to carry off the cup, adding it to the Serbian SuperLiga title they won last week.
For Stameniċ, it means he’s won back-to-back cup winner’s medals after helping his previous club, FC Copenhagen, win their ninth Danish Cup, before signing with Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) in mid-2023.
