A-League club Macarthur have confirmed two players involved in a major betting investigation will leave the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Midfielder Kearyn Baccus (32) and fullback/winger Matthew Millar (27) will not be offered new contracts.

Baccus, club captain Ulises Davila and teammate Clayton Lewis face criminal charges of engaging in conduct that corrupts a betting outcome.

They have appeared in court and are yet to plead to the charges.

Millar has not been charged but has been named in court documents as a participant in the alleged plot to receive yellow cards in return for payment.

Baccus and Davila next appear in court on June 24, while All Whites midfielder Lewis is due to appear on June 27.

Former Wellington Phoenix players Davila and Lewis are already under contract for the next A-League season.
