Papakura City go top of NRF Women’s Conference with big win

Papakura City have moved to the top of the NRF Women’s Conference with a Thursday night win against Bucklands Beach.

Playing at McLennan Park, Papakura took a 3-1 half-time lead with a hat-trick from Kristina Ah Ching, before running away with the second half to win 8-1.

Joyce Barroso scored a second-half hat-trick and Papakura’s remaining goals came from Danielle Swales and captain Nicole Kraakman.

The win gives Papakura a one-point lead over Bay Olympic, with a game in hand.
