The WaiBOP W-League has completed its 15-round programme with a 4-0 win for Lakes against Waikato Unicol.
Though the result did not change any of the final standings, it showed Lakes were worthy of their runners-up spot on the W-League table.
Lakes took a 2-0 half-time lead, thanks to goals from Brooke Barclay and Halee Smith.
Delana Trask made it 3-0 after 57 minutes before Smith add her second of the day.
