He joins two other new signings at Seddon Fields, with Miramar Rangers pair Wan Gatkek (22) and Patrick Tobin (22) moving up from Wellington.

Gatkek has previously played for Western Suburbs and Team Wellington.

Tobin has played for Team Wellington, Waterside Karori and had a spell with Fort Wayne FC, a USL (United States League) club based in Indiana.

Gatkek and Tobin will re-unite with coach Scott Hales who left Miramar Rangers late last year to take the Western Springs coaching role after the departure of Chris Zoricich to Australia.

Meanwhile, Springs have re-signed four of their most experienced players.

Oscar Browne will wear the Springs hoops for his 17th season, while Matt Thomas (14 seasons), Adama Coulibaly (12 seasons) and Flynn Saxon (nine seasons) stay loyal to the club.
