Panama have become the 32nd — and last — team to qualify for this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup after they beat Paraguay 1-0 at Hamilton in the last game of the intercontinental qualifying play-offs series.
A 75th minute header by substitute Lineth Cedeno got the 57th ranked side in the world through to the finals, where they will now join France, Brazil and Jamaica in Group F.
The match completed the week-long play-off series to decide the final three places at the tournament to be co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
Haiti and Portugal are the two other teams to qualify.
