Top futsal sides line up for two-day Northern Travel Series in Tauranga

More than 100 of the best men and women futsal players in the upper North Island will play in a two-day tournament in Tauranga over the weekend (March 11-12, 2023).

The tournament is the Ford Futsal Superleague’s Northern Travel series which brings together three men’s teams and two women’s teams in separate competitions.

In the men’s league, Bay of Plenty Surge, Waikato Rapids and Auckland City will play a round-robin over two days.

In the women’s competition, reigning national champions Papakura City will play WaiBOP Power in a two-match series.

Spectators are welcome at Trustpower Stadium, Tauranga, or you can watch all eight matches over the weekend, live-streamed by NZ Football’s YouTube channel.
