VIDEO: Former All White scores scorcher in Los Angeles’ ‘El Trafico’ derby

Former All Whites winger Tyler Boyd has scored an outstanding goal for his LA Galaxy side in their MLS derby against Los Angeles FC, known as ‘El Trafico’ after the traffic congestion fans experience.

Tauranga-born Boyd (28) thrilled the 25,000 crowd with two moments of brilliance, in a three-minute spell.

First, he wrong-footed the LAFC defence with a stepover and shot from outside the area, forcing a corner.

Three minutes later, he scored a stunner from 38 metres when he picked up possession in midfield, lost his marker with a clever turn and struck the ball hard and high into the net.

Galaxy lost the game 3-2.
