Football Ferns Vic Esson and Olivia Chance could be on opposing sides when Rangers and Celtic meet in the first-ever women’s cup final between the arch Scottish rivals.
The two Glasgow clubs have reached the final of the Scottish Women’s Cup, to be played at Hampden, Scotland’s national stadium, on Saturday June 3.
Goalkeeper Esson had little to do as Rangers beat Motherwell 2-0 in their semi-final at Hampden on Saturday April 22.

Midfielder Olivia Chance was absent from Celtic’s 1-0 semi-final win on Sunday against Glasgow City, sidelined by the knee injury she suffered playing for New Zealand in the Ferns’ 1-1 draw with Iceland on April 8.
Celtic won the cup last season.
