The Wellington Phoenix women and men will kick off their new seasons in October.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have confirmed the start dates for the 2023-24 A-Leagues, with round-by-round draws to follow in August.
The Liberty A-League will kick off on the weekend of October 13-15, with the women’s campaign extended to a 22-game regular season due to the addition of the Central Coast Mariners.
The men’s 26-round Isuzu UTE A-League will start the week after the women, on the weekend of October 20-22.
Both competitions will conclude in May 2024, with the A-Leagues to break for all FIFA international windows.
The Isuzu UTE A-League, however, won’t pause for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 in January and February.
APL expects more information on the 2023-24 season draws to follow in August.
The Phoenix men have already started pre-season training, while the women will assemble in early September after the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
