Canterbury United win back-to-back Girls’ National Youth League titles

Canterbury United have won the Girls’ National Youth League for a second year in a row, finishing their season as the competition’s only unbeaten side.

The Pride Cubs, as the side is known, finished six points clear of nearest rivals Central Football.

Canterbury ended their season with a 1-0 home win against third-placed Fencibles United, with the winner scored by New Zealand U-16 international Katie Pugh.
