Youth teams head for Auckland for this year’s national U-17 tournament

Forty teams will gather at Auckland’s Seddon Fields this week for the national U-17 women’s and men’s youth tournament being staged by Western Springs.

The men’s draw has 24 teams, while the women’s competition has 16 teams, up from 12 last year.

This year’s tournament will run over four days, from December 7-10, 2023. Western Springs have hosted the tournament since 2019.

Last year’s winners were Birkenhead (men) and Northern Rovers (women).
