Spectators at the 12 men’s and women’s A-League games played in Sydney for the inaugural Unite Round saw 42 goals scored.
The six men’s fixtures produced 28 goals, including seven in the Wellington Phoenix’s 4-3 win against Perth Glory.
The women’s games had 14 goals, including a history-making effort from Canberra United great Michelle Heyman who became the first female to score 100 Liberty A-League goals.’
