NZ Football’s referee development manager Lindsey Robinson said:

“It is great to see Aotearoa New Zealand again well represented with 11 Kiwis officiating on the international stage.

“From the FIFA Women’s World Cup to the FIFA Club World Cup, New Zealand officials were present at numerous FIFA tournaments in 2023, and it is exciting to see that set to continue this year.

“I also want to celebrate Nick Waldron and Sarah Jones who have both done an excellent job representing the country and congratulate them on their international retirement.”
