NRF League One club Papakura City have signed Kevin Patricio to their first team and as the coach of their U-17 youth team.

Papakura’s technical director Matt Bouma says Patricio “is a player who is highly experienced at the top level of football in New Zealand and Chile”, spending time in 2023 with Chile Primera Division club Colo Colo, where All Whites winger Marcos Rojas was under contract.

“The more I spoke with Kevin, the more it was obvious he was passionate about the development of youth players. We have a similar vision, to provide a catered pathway for young players into the men’s first team at Papakura City.

“Kevin is the perfect fit to lead our U-17 aspirational team.”

Patricio told Papakura’s supporters via social media: “I am very happy with this sporting project. In which, we think big and seek to get Papakura City FC, back to the big leagues as soon as possible.”
