New roles for Northern Region’s referee leadership team

Northern Region Football have announced new and changed roles for the team that leads the region’s referees.

In its announcement, NRF says: “We’re proud to present these new and changed roles in our referee team, to help achieve our quality competitions strategy and targets while supporting and growing the match officials community.”

The appointments are:

Mark Hester

— Referee Development Manager

This new role oversees the LOTTO NRFL, and works with NZ Football, our Referees Advisory Committee and the NRF team to support referees throughout the region.

Beth Rattray
—  Referee Education Officer – Community

Beth Rattray continues to lead community referee education, and support, as well as up-skilling and mentoring new referees joining to our game.

Bridget Baker

— Referee Appointments Officer

Bridget Baker manages most community and LOTTO NRFL referee appointments — this role moves to the refereeing team to better align co-ordination between competitions and new and established officials.
