The All Whites lost in Cairo, but Auckland United will return from the Solomon Islands as Oceania’s women’s club champions.

The Northern League got underway (and will be joined next weekend by the Central and Southern Leagues) while the Lotto NRFL Men’s Championship completed its first round.

The Lotto NRFL Women’s Premiership kicked off on Sunday.

The country’s best futsal players gathered in Takanini for two days of Ford Futsal Superleague competition, to be followed by Monday’s finals day.
