RESULTS: Friday’s winners, scorers and latest league tables

Some huge scores marked the opening round of the Southern League on Friday, with 22 goals scored in three games.

Second round fixtures took place for the Northern League and the Lotto NRFL Men’s Championship, while the NRFL’s Northern and Southern Conferences got underway.

In the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premiership, Western Springs beat crosstown rivals Eastern Suburbs 1-0.
