Members of the Wellington Phoenix squad are enjoying the build-up to their historic first women’s A-League game on New Zealand soil.
The players are in their final week of pre-season preparation before facing Melbourne City at Wellington’s Sky Stadium on Sunday.
The club has targetted a home crowd of 10,000 to get the team’s second season of Liberty A-League football underway.
In the lead-up to the game, players have been facing the media to talk about the season opener.
