Weekend results decided some titles, promotion spots and the final place in this year’s men’s National League.
The weekend’s results mean:
- Melville United became the last of four Northern League clubs to qualify for this year’s National League.
- West Coast Rangers were confirmed as winners of the Lotto NRFL first division title, claiming the Thomson Shield which has been awarded to Auckland first division champions since 1892.
- Manurewa confirmed their promotion to the National League.
- Hibiscus Coast clinched the NRF Women’s Championship.
- Te Atatu won the NRF Women’s Conference.
- Already confirmed as title winners, Waikato Unicol completed their WaiBOP Premiership season unbeaten.
